So everything works now, I'll have to test with other games. The game allows you to purchase various upgrades to help your character. Many, if not every site I went to with codes either had them already encoded, or I was told to use GCNcrypt to convert them. Apparently Dolphin, or atleast 4.02, only seems to register and properly load Incomplete Hex codes, or the Unencoded versions. I'm not going to say the annoying "Don't judge harshly" or anything, if the solution is literally in front of me, and I was just overthinking, then that's it, I was being an idiot.Įdit: Turns out I was being an idiot. Any possible fix, or is it something I haven't known of affecting this? It's not too big of a deal, I just noticed that alot of games don't handle cheats well with Dolphin, example being SSBM, any cheat being active causes the game to crash sooner or later.Īlso my first time posting anything to Reddit. I have not touched the game's ini, I haven't touched anything on Dolphin, my cheats are in fact on, both in Dolphin's settings and in the game's Properties tab, they are checked, and the Config confirms the cheats are atleast noticed by the emulator. I have also checked a few forums, but the main complaints were typically about how the UI for the menu is horribly offset when your weapon is visible, or at least, any area aside from the Pioneer 2 is loaded. I'm not sure as to why this happens, but I can only guess it's actually the emulator, as every AR code I've added was used previously. Aside from that, nothing indicated a change anywhere in the game. For whatever reason, none of the Action Replay codes I enter ever take affect, the only hint that the codes are even on in game is when I used the "Enemies drop Rares" cheat, and when I went to break certain boxes, the game would freeze. ![]() So I picked up the Dolphin Emulator about a week ago, however, I'm currently using version 4.02, since 5.0 and upwards boot each and every game I have as a black screen, so I settled for 4.02, and everything works pretty well, except for one odd thing, being Phantasy Star Online, Episode 1 and 2. ![]()
